Pinot Noir Winemaker's Reserve 2017
The frost nipped at the man's weathered hands and he struck yet another match. This must have been the lucky one, as it finally stayed lit. As he touched it to the pile of vine cuttings and they began to crackle and burn he looked down at his hillside vineyard. Winter was here, but soon the vines would burst forth with new life and vigor. He smiled and warmed himself over the now established fire.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
The grapes for this special Pinot Noir are harvested from a meticulously maintained vineyard in the legendary Santa Rita Hills, a cool climate corner of Santa Barbara County. The weather patterns bear a remarkable similarity to Burgundy, the ancestral home of Pinot Noir, which endows this wine with a graceful aroma of black cherry wrapped in an intriguing sheath of toasted oak and forest floor. The cool climate of the vineyard is evident by the bright, up front acidity on the palate, making your mouth water for another taste. Cherry cola and hints of cinnamon resolve into supple tannins.
