Wild horses run free in the green prairies, white clouds roam fast in the blue skies…

Plums, wild mushrooms, wet forest on the nose; fleshy but also dry and refreshing on the palate.
We picked just 1.2tons of this fruit from an amazingly picturesque vineyard overlooking De Portola Road at the east end of the Temecula Valley.
The Malbec grape is thin-skinned and needs more sun and heat to ripen than similar varietals of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot which makes it an ideal fit for our terroir. Malbec ripens mid-season and can bring very deep color, ample tannins, and a particular plum-like flavor to add complexity to claret blends like the red French Bordeaux blends.
Food Pairing Notes
Pair with Charcuterie, Chili con carne, or Spaghetti and meatballs.
