Unctuous aromas of peach pie and candied orange bear witness to the ripeness of this delightful dessert wine. Creamy and decadent on the palate, flavors of sweet white peach and marmalade are balanced by a tinge of refreshing acidity on the finish.
Winemaker Notes
Late Harvest wines are a unique balancing act of finding just the right level of sugar and acidity to make a wine that is sweet and powerful while still plush and rich in fruit. We continue to have success with Chardonnay, with this 2022 vintage adhering to the formula that has won us so much acclaim for this style in the past. When swirled a viscosity not present in dry wines is evident in the way the sides of the glass are coated.
