He walked the rows of vines, examining each one, checking on the canopy of leaves, the position of the ripening fruit to the sun and shade, the soil under each trunk. He would repeat this for each vine, though they numbered in the thousands, for if he let a single one go untended he would not satisfy his goal of making the best.

Tasting Notes
While quite light in color, rich aromas of vanilla and honeyed apple set the stage for a white wine of unusual power and complexity. On the palate, it shows a pleasingly creamy viscosity, highlighting flavors of lemon meringue and sweet apple.

Hailing from the esteemed Duarte's Vineyard, this Garnacha Blanca represents the continuation of a theme of producing excellent wines from this lovingly tended Temecula Valley site. For 2022 the vines produced an incredibly small but dramatically concentrated crop, delivering one of our best white wines ever.
