On the nose a potpourri of white flowers and Mediterranean herbs, on the palate warm and fleshy sensations with long-lasting tingling acidity.
A native of the northern Rhône Valley of France, Viognier is one of the most aromatic of all the white varieties, often described as ‘exotic’ or ‘heady.’ It is quickly becoming the darling of the New World wine areas and has found a home right here in Temecula.
Food Pairing Notes
This is a prefect summer wine to share chilled with family and friends over a seafood feast of crab, shrimp, and lobster.
