A delicious and balanced wine blending the strawberry and cherry aromas of the Sangiovese with the blackberry of the Cabernet. On the palate, it is firmly tannic but lifted by the acidity of the Sangiovese, offering both red and black fruit flavors.
Winemaker Notes
Vendetta is our homage to the relatively recent but groundbreaking Tuscan tradition of blending the heirloom Sangiovese with introduced Bordeaux varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. This vintage sees a unique blend of our fantastic Estate Sangiovese with a rich Napa Valley Cabernet from Calistoga finished off with just a hint of Temecula Valley Cabernet.
