Tasting Notes
This wine shows a zippy lime zest from the Vermentino, with the Viognier laying on waves of creamy peach and the Pinot Gris making itself known with a burst of honey-dipped apple.
Winemaker Notes
Vanita is a name that will be familiar to our longtime members. A lively blend of Vermentino, Viognier and Pinot Gris, our last vintage of this wine, 2016, was extremely popular. However, we knew that we could make an even better version by planting new vineyards and patiently waiting for them to mature. Finally, we can say that they are ready and their first effort, the magical 2023, has been well worth the wait. Produced from meticulously tended vineyards located between the Vienza Winery and the future Vienza Resort Hotel.
