Tasting Notes
Vibrant and intensely aromatic, with notes of pepper and dark fruits wafting out of the glass, flowing into flavors of blueberry and dark fruits. The once formidable tannin has softened into a polished yet still lengthy tannin.
Winemaker Notes
One of our favorite things to do is share a properly aged wine with a group of friends. When we began evaluating our 2020 wines we knew that the Syrah had incredible potency and power. For that reason we barrel aged it in the finest small oak barrels for more than 2 years, and then gave it a comparable stay in bottle before deeming it ready for release.
