A true homage to Tuscany, this ruby-hued wine rises from the glass with aromas of ripe strawberry and iron. On the palate, it is juicy and approachable, with delicate flavors of maraschino cherry easing into an elegantly balanced tannin.

Making great wine is a waiting game, with the utmost patience required to produce the very best. This excellent Sangiovese, artfully crafted from prime fruit in the temperate Livermore Valley, waited more than four years after harvest before we felt it was ready to show its true colors. And wow, was it worth waiting!
