A purple tinged crimson, youthful and exotic aromas of white pepper and blueberry jam wind in just the slightest hint of dragonfruit. On the palate, it is jammy and soft in texture, with nuances of wild berries mingling with a zesty acidity and surprisingly firm tannins.
Our Ruché is made in a dazzling, fruit-forward style. To emphasize the incredible fruit of this variety, it is aged only in steel tanks, not oak, so that the freshness and sublime aromatics of the wine are not altered. Excellent to enjoy now or over the next four years.
Ruché di Castagnole Monferrato is to us, the embodiment of the Magellan series goal of seeking out the rarest and most special gems of the wine world and sharing them with you. The small town of Castagnole Monferrato, where this wine is grown and produced, is home to only 30 growers and just over 400 acres of vineyards. For this reason, along with the majestic quality of the wine produced here, we are ecstatic to share this rare gem with you.
Food Pairing Notes
A fascinating experience to pair with mushroom and white truffle risotto.
