Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Leaping from the glass with aromas of roasted coffee and blackberry, this wine shows incredible concentration and a pleasantly savory twist. On the palate, it is full-bodied, long, and powerful, with a distinctive balance between the dark chocolate and black fruit flavors.
Production Notes
The hard work and dedication of the small group who tend these vines by hand and harvest each vine carefully, selecting only the best bunches of grapes. The patience to wait as the wine matures for over 21 months in the finest small French oak barrels. All of these factors combine to prove that greatness never comes easily, and that determination is rewarded with the finest results.
Winemaker Notes
This is a wine born of determination. The struggle of the Tempranillo vines in the low nutrient soils of the small valley in which they are grown, bridging the gap between the highlands and cascading down to the Duero River. The continental climate, with high heat in the summer giving way to bitter cold in the winter.
Food Pairing Notes
Enjoy with the grilled, marinated rack of lamb at Bolero Restaurante.
