Tasting Notes
The wine exhibits intense and elegant aromas dried prunes, cured cherries and bitters. The intensely warm palate feels like a vigorous handshake and a caress at the same time.
Winemaker Notes
This extremely limited production of a great California Port-Style wine was handcrafted years before Europa Village was even established by a highly regarded Temecula winemaker. The wine was lovingly aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels for 11 years then blended and bottle aged an additional two years. We are very excited to release it now.
