Plan de Dieu 2021

Plan de Dieu translates as “God’s Plain.” This special terroir is marked by firm red clay soils interspersed with large cobblestones deposited over millions of years by so many forgotten tributaries of the mighty Rhône River. These factors, as well as the advanced age of the vineyards, limit the production of the Grenache and Syrah vines that are blended in equal parts to produce this unique wine. As you taste, let your mind take you to this windswept plain where the weather is dictated by the legendary, Le Mistral. Think back through the thousands of years of winemaking tradition in this special place that have culminated to deliver the aromas, flavors, and textures that are now playing a symphony just for you.
