Tasting Notes
Presenting as light and strawberry toned in the glass, aromas of cinnamon and cherry cola lead into delightful flavors of strawberry preserves and toasted almond, with the trademark tingling acidity typical of Monastrell lighting up a long yet delicate finish.
Winemaker Notes
Monastrell is one of the grapes that Mother Nature has demonstrated to us time and time again and is a perfect fit for the unique terroir of Temecula Valley. With these years of success, we chose a few of our favorite parcels and produced a limited-release Reserve Monastrell. The result is what we feel is, to this point, our finest rendering of a variety respected in Spain for dozens of generations.
