For the 2023 Artist Series Collection, artist Steven Van has captured the spirit of Spain in our newest limited edition Artist Series, “Triumphant.”
Alone, standing tall as the fierce winds drove over the plains, moving the clouds like so many weightless specks, he stood, leaning into the gale. But the winds carried more than just the clouds. They carried dust, debris, perdition, peril, change, and choice. But even as the tempest drew near, increasing in violence, the bull stood, firm against the pressure, firm to his tradition. Firm to his spirit and the spirit of his brethren and home.

Tasting Notes
Floral aromas of rose petal intertwine with fascinating hints of spice and ripe cherry. In a nod to its deep color, a rich tannin is present, balanced perfectly by flavors of plum and dark chocolate.
Winemaker Notes
Libido, our tribute to the great blended wines of Spain, is always changing. Our quest to take the grapes Mother Nature gives us and deliver their message of the vintage in which we were blessed to grow them never wavers. After many blending trials, we arrived on a blend of 50% Tempranillo, 20% Carignan, 20% Graciano, and 10% Tannat for the 2023 Artist Series Release.
