Chardonnay Bourgogne 2019
Burgundian Chardonnays can take on many characteristics that show the effect of the quick draining soils of the region on the resulting wine. This selection, like so many other Magellan wines, is not available anywhere else in the United States and was carefully selected for your enjoyment by the team of sommeliers here at Europa Village.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Succulent aromas of freshly baked lemon bars, crème fraîche, and chalk make restraint impossible as one is coerced into tasting immediately. On the palate, a zesty acidity balanced by notes of creamy lemon meringue solidifies the complex and refined nature of this selection.
Winemaker Notes
White Burgundy refers to a single grape, Chardonnay. Chardonnay is the most popular grape in the world, and for good reason. It is the one many consider to be the most reflective of the style of the winemaker, but also of the effect of the site on which the vines were grown to the quality of the final wine, what the French call “terroir.” We surmise that its rich body, bright aromas, and beautifully long finish will show you why Chardonnay is so popular all the world over, but why so few can achieve the greatness that is possible in Burgundy, the home of Chardonnay.
Food Pairing Notes
